BlueWoods CityLife featuring Twanée
Originally from LA, Kevin “Blue” Woods is the real deal - nothing artificial about him or his music. Primarily a saxophone player, Woods is also a bandleader, composer, lyricist, vocalist and rapper of sorts. His versatility and monster talents have taken him around the world, performing for Disney World, on cruise ships, and touring with the popular Atlantic Records funk/hard rock/soul group, White Trash.
In 1995, Woods founded BlueWoods, his group that combines jazz, R&B and urban contemporary sounds into one polished musical package. The group has released three albums to date -- Straight Ahead Time, Over and Over, and Words. Each album shows the evolvement of Woods’ own charismatic, sexy, cool style and sound with strong hooks and funky, smooth beats.
Later this year, Woods plans to release his fourth album, City Life, featuring female vocalist, Twanée who has opened for or worked with Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Mya, Snoop Dogg, Fantasia Barrino, Faith Evans, and many others.
